I make simple and functional wheel-thrown ceramic pieces that are designed to be held and used daily, objects that aim to be beautiful but functional. I work intuitively, responding to the materials and exploring its evocations as they arise, from working on a handle shape that is most comfortable to finding horizons in glaze surfaces that connect us to nature.
I studied Fine Art at Central Saint Martins and am a self-taught potter. My ceramics have been featured in Country Living Modern Rustic magazine, exhibited at Timothy Hawkins Gallery and are currently in stock at Bristol Guild of Applied Arts.
